model : the ever patient and tolerant Xun (my god, THANK YOU)
this is another idea I've had for several years, but it's very hard to execute feathers and "blood" to this degree on one's own (or, as I find anyway: maybe you're different, superpeople). anyway, had to take several photos and stack and adjust them to get all the feathers more properly; color-balancing, as is usually usual
I'm happy I finally got to do this shot after so many years
(should I put a link to the story here, or will you guys get it? seems mostly straightforward...)

thank you so much! Yes, it was soooo involved: I'm really grateful to have such tolerant friends in truth, to get the "flying feathers" I had to take several shots and overlay them. but anyway, thanks again!
n_n I don't photograph people very much but when I do, my friends give me strange looks when I tell them what I have planned for a shoot. (I'm a little out there I suppose.)
I tend to just do self portraits or portraits of other photo/art-friends, so they know what's in store being out there is a great place to be: the view certainly is wonderful, isn't it?
I've never tried a shot with it before but I do like the concept here.
Great job
