No, I can't explain the title 
Face, make up, photographing, post-processing-- all mine.
I still consider it a photo, even though it looks heavily edited, because all I did was change my eye color, add the "diffuse glow" filter, and desaturate a bit, so that's not very photomanipulative, in my opinion
About the make up, I was going to use aluminum foil..but turns out there wasn't anything around the house...so luckily, I was able to find a bit of chocolate (yumm) and I cut its foil wrapper into bits instead XD
Also used some itty bitty white beads, not sure if you can see that...
Stuck everything on my face with sticky, sparkly lip gloss.
(it's occured to me that I improv. A LOT when it comes to make up
)
And actually, peeling the foil bits off after I finished the photoshoot was actually kinda fun too-- feels like pulling off scales from your face ;b
That's probably why I named the other piece artificial reptile now that I think about it...
this is also for #Le-Visage's "Face of 2008" contest-- since it's supposed to be like the "new" face of the new year (not so new anymore) I thought "hmm, future!" so this is my interpretation, I guess
